George Takei Denies Sexual Assault Claim, But Admitted Bad Behavior on Stern
Former model Scott R. Brunton has accused iconic Star Trek actor George Takei of sexual assault. According to Brunton, the alleged incident occurred in 1981. At the time, he was 23 and Takei was 43 or 44. As Brunton tells it, the actor invited him out to dinner after he had broken up with his boyfriend and tried to help console him. Here's how Brunton describes the incident.

"He was very good at consoling me and understanding that I was upset and still in love with my boyfriend. He was a great ear. He was very good about me spilling my heart on my sleeve. We have the drink and he asks if I would like another. And I said sure. So, I have the second one, and then all of a sudden, I begin feeling very disoriented and dizzy, and I thought I was going to pass out. I said I need to

Kip Moore Reveals Red Carpet Anxieties and Why He's Soured on the Fruits of Success
When Kip Moore released his debut album, Up All Night, in 2012, it was a success almost out of the gate. With hits like “Something ‘Bout a Truck,’ which Moore’s sexy, raspy delivery managed to elevate out of country’s truck rut, “Hey Pretty Girl” and “Beer Money,” the album put the Tifton, Georgia, native in the spotlight. But despite critical kudos, his sonically ambitious second album Wild Ones underperformed, and suddenly the town that hailed him as a new original voice got busy writing his swan song. It was, Moore tells People, “a kick in the teeth.”

“Owen’s style brings a real return to high adventure, insane action and character comedy,” said Wiebe. “He has an amazing talent for crafting a world and when his characters act, they feel genuine and real. Writing scripts for Owen is the most fun I’ve had on the series in a very long time. Our new start with Rat Queens is getting back to the basics. Four friends who kill monsters for money. Except it’s even weirder.”

Gieni added: “Having this opportunity to bring these loved characters to life is a dream come true. I’ve been a fan of Rat Queens since its first issue, so

Why Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters shows the best of Hollywood remakes

Simon Columb weighs in on Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot…

Fellow Flickering Myth-er and Ghostbusters fan, Luke Owen, followed the release of the new trailer [watch it here] with an article titled “Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters is everything wrong with reboots…”. His interest in the topic is deep and the first few paragraphs of his informative article is a concise history on the development of the third instalment of Ghostbusters. What is exceptionally clear is his distaste for Paul Feig. Director of Bridesmaids, The Heat and Spy, Feig has an impressive career in comedy proving how he is clearly ‘creative enough’ to reboot the series. Cinematically, these three films earned over $200m each, pulling in $775m worldwide. Though Luke may not be a fan, it is clear that many millions of others are. Including me.

Let us get the obvious out-of-the-way. If you don’t like Paul Feig, it is more than likely
