A priest comes to a small town to help get rid of a monster whose blood coagulates very fast. This creates problems as the monster is very hard to kill and then decides to go on a killing spree of its own.
An unknown killer, clad in World War II U.S. Army fatigues, stalks a small New Jersey town bent on reliving a 35 year-old double murder by focusing on a group of college kids holding an annual Spring Dance.
Just what you need - a movie about a nerd at a military academy who stumbles over some old books of Satanic lore, studies up, and rips the heads off his adversaries and most of the faculty in a final scene heavy with dry-ice and peter-pan wire work and...er...pigs. And who is that up on the wire...why it's Clint Howard, a seriously unconvincing messenger of vengeance, whether he's wielding the axe or ranting about 'Satan I command you' in his basement hideout/VIC-20 lab. The Review Board seems to have let one topless-woman-beheading slip by in the opening sequence, but afterward most of the hacking and ripping you hear is the botched rhythm of censored carnage, which I suppose did return precious seconds to my life for which I ought to be grateful.
