Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

We see David running nude in the woods during a dream sequence including the side of his naked posterior and brief full-frontal nudity.

A couple are seen having sex in the shower, with kissing and touching. We then see them in bed, moaning and thrusting. At one point, a woman's bare breast is visible and there is implied cunnilingus.

David strips nude and we briefly see his naked posterior twice as he transforms into a werewolf.

David wakes up in a wolf cage at the zoo and from a distance we briefly see full-frontal nudity and his naked posterior as he gets out of the cage.

We briefly see rear and full-frontal nudity of David from a distance as he runs across the zoo.

David enters an adult cinema and we see a man and woman in the film having sex. We also briefly see the woman's bare breasts several times times. Related moaning and breathing from the film is also heard off-screen.

A man's nude corpse is seen from the side.

Violence & Gore

A man is mauled to death by a werewolf, and his body is then shown covered in blood.

A man's face is scratched by a werewolf, producing some blood.

In a dream sequence, a man mauls and kills a deer, he then bites a chunk of flesh from it.

In another dream sequence, a family is shot to death by Nazi werewolves. The sequence continues with a nurse being stabbed.

A couple walking to their friends' home are killed by the werewolf David. Afterwards, one of their friends discovers their mutilated corpses.

The werewolf David attacks three tramps (British hobos).

A man puts a knife to his wrist with the intention of suicide, but decides against it.

A policeman discovers one or more of David's victims in an adult cinema. A police detective has his head bitten off.

A panic ensues in the city streets and several cars crash into each other. Some people are hit and/or run over. A man crashes through a window.

David's friend Jack is seen at intervals in an increasing state of decay. David meets his bloodied victims in an adult cinema.

Two werewolves are shot in the abdomen, one at the beginning of the film and the other at the end. We see their bleeding human corpses.

Profanity

Several uses of fuck, shit, goddamn; one use of cunt; other minor or religious swearing.

People are seen drinking beer or smoking cigarettes, mostly in the same pub setting.

The werewolf attacks are infrequent, but for the most part very intense. The werewolf itself is one the most frightening looking wolf monsters seen on film to this day.

The dream sequences become increasingly scary or disturbing.

The transformation sequence is quite eerie.

A man is chased through a subway corridor, which builds up tension.

The car crash sequence at the end of the film is also intense.

A man's friend (that dies at the start of the film) comes back from the dead at random places. He warns him of his fate that he is a warewolf and he will continue to kill people on a full moon unless he kills himself . He is shown at different stages of decomposition, complete with blood, bones and rotten flesh. He looks disturbing but he is humerous in nature
