A woman who knows Cecilia hires the guys to find if her husband is having an affair. While working the case Rick finds himself attracted to the woman. They eventually learn what's going on with her husband and try to help him.
A game show host suspects that the show he is currently hosting is fixed. So he turns to the Simons for help because he was already involved in the game show fixing scandal in the 50's even though he was completely innocent. So they try to find out how they're doing it.
A.J. and Rick were at a restaurant when the owner is killed. And while they didn't actually see the incident, they saw a man standing over him with the weapon. The prosecutor whom they know, who is using the case for exposure, is determined to see the man convicted. But they eventually realize the man may be innocent and the prosecutor also knows it but is apparently using them to get someone else.
