Trivia

One of the horror movies banned in the UK during the "video nasty" craze of the 1980s. It was passed with one minute and 41 seconds of cuts in 1994. See more »

Goofs

Professor Nugent's face is bandaged in the opening sequence, and the rest of the movie is a flashback to how his face became mutilated. In the beginning scenes, his face is bandaged so that the entire upper half of his face looks normal. However, when we see the actual incident where his face gets burned, his entire face is burned to the point of causing death by trauma and dehydration. See more »

Quotes

Warren: One thing I do know is that there isn't any Bigfoot in these woods, here or anywhere else. It's just another version of the Loch Ness Monster. Still, you can't really blame people for making things up if it makes their own lives seem more interesting...

So bad it's good...
12 April 2001 | by See all my reviews

I can't imagine a movie worse technically than this, and I doubt that the producers took themselves seriously making this movie. It is so bad that it'll have you in fits of laughter. It tries to have a little sub-plot about a strange romance between the monster and a woman in a secluded cabin, but that could have been left out. The monster swings somebody's intestines around, picks a camping bag up and swings it around to impale it on a pole...and best of all, he rips a guy's member off...how could you not laugh?? if this were all done in a more realistic manner (if something that macabre could be realistically at all), maybe it wouldn't have been. But if you like bad movies and you're one of those that likes to watch movies with friends and family only to make fun of them, pick this one up. It's hard to find however.
