When Mrs. Voorhees breaks into the pantry where Alice is hiding, Alice ducks her machete swing, then uses a cast iron skillet to block the blade. However, the position of the skillet changes just before she knocks Mrs. Voorhees out with it. At first Alice blocks the machete to her left, but in the very next shot she takes a swing at Mrs. Voorhees head and the skillet is now on her right.

In the French translation of the movie, Mrs. Voorhees calls her son Jackie, even if the character is named Jason in the English original version. The translation was corrected in Friday the 13th Part 2.

At the end when Alice cuts of Mrs. Voorhees's head you can see two hands clutching and making fists in the air which is not possible as the brain is disconnected so as to make the hands perform a voluntary function. An involuntary action would have been a jerky movement.
