Pippo Franco and Edwige Fenech share top billing, but 'Il Ficcanaso' (The nosy parker) is clearly Pippo's show as he co-wrote it and dominates just about every scene. He stars as Luiciano Persichetti, a cowardly delivery boy who has psychic premonitions. When he starts getting mysterious phone calls from a 'Guardian Angel' and a dead body is found in his apartment, he becomes a murder suspect. Keeping the tone light, all of the violence (except in a dream sequence) is done off screen, presumably so we can enjoy Pippo's hysterical reactions.
The busy body gains a great foil when he seeks protection from an overworked, pill popping police commissioner who still lives with his mother. From the moment they meet, il commisario finds it impossible to get rid of il ficcanaso. If the writers had only been content to concentrated on these two characters, instead of crowding the film with lots of quirky characters with their own subplots, it might not have been so uneven.
Most of these (the practical joker at work, the hooker with a heart of gold) amount to very little and even Luciano's psychic abilities are rendered useless since his 'Guardian Angel' tells hem everything that is going to happen. Edwige Fenech has little more to do than to look beautiful as Suzanna, the object of Luicetti's affection who is really only interested in his ability to foresee the future.

Edwige has two nude scenes, at least one of which could easily have been done with all her clothes on. Luckily she is always a good sport about things like that.
