Don't watch movie just listen to SOUNDTRACK
29 December 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A great cast including Amrish Puri, Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat etc. is wasted on a movie that doesn't have a very good story. Within a quarter of the movie (45 minutes) you'll figure out exactly what will happen for the entirety. The story is something we've seen many times but the writers don't do anything to make this different - it's plain, predictable, and trite.

The only reasons that this movie did so well at the box office is because of star power and even more so, the AMAZING SONGS of Mohammed Rafi. "Bane Chahai Dushman, Dostana Hamara" is one of the greatest duets by Rafi and Kishore. The songs made this movie a success and if you see the trailer for the movie on youtube, hahahahah, you see that at least a third of the trailer is the songs! Story is an important part of the movie and so this movie fails. Song wise, this IS a top 5 Amitabh movie, I may agree to that. But as a movie, 8.3/10 is ridiculous - people are either factoring in the songs or love Amitabh too much.

Don't' waste 3 hours of your life - just listen to the songs.
