A FUN DISASTER FLICK!, 23 April 2004
6/10
Author: marianna1776 (marianna1776@hotmail.com) from Huxley, Iowa

This is made from author John D. MacDonald's book from 1977. This movie was made in 1980 for the ABC network as a mini series. The cast is absolutely huge! Most notable for me was Barbara Eden and Steve Forrest. Barbara Eden was gorgeous as usual. Remember Barbara Eden from the delightfully fun series on television called I Dream Of Jeanne? Steve Forrest played the lead on the television series called SWAT. The story was a lot of fun. The scenes for the hurricane were pretty good too.I loved the music! You go back into the days of disco when you hear the music.I have seen a lot of mini series over the years, and this one is a lot of fun for me.I think that the book was much better, if you are going to take the story seriously.I did not take it seriously, I just enjoyed it for the fun of it.I highly recommend this to people that are looking for something fun to watch.I have this movie.
