Fury (2014)
The opening scene where the Sergeant, played by Brad Pitt leaps from hiding and stabs the German officer riding a white horse which Pitt releases echoes the opening scene of The Big Red One, where the Sergeant, played by Lee Marvin, ambushes and stabs a German soldier and is nearly trampled by a crazed black horse. The two Sergeants also are very similar characters in their rough yet caring way of leadership.
