Too close for comfort! Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner had a scary fan encounter on Wednesday night in New York City.

Watch: Gigi Hadid Explains Her Terrifying Milan Attack: It's 'Everyone's Right' to Defend Themselves

The model pals were heading to Bella's sister Gigi Hadid’s apartment when a woman in a grey tracksuit rushed up to them, brandishing the Palestinian flag. It is unclear whether she was protesting the stars, trying to promote a message, or simply an overeager fan.

The girls, who were followed closely by a bodyguard, appeared unfazed as they continued walking.

The woman was stopped by policemen and later handcuffed and taken away.

Neither Kendall nor Bella responded to the incident on social media. The trio were later seen leaving Gigi’s apartment and heading to Madison Square Garden where Kendall's longtime pal Asap Rocky was performing.

This isn’t the first time one of the Hadid sisters has been attacked by a fan

‘All in the Family,’ ‘Maude’ Writer Austin Kalish Dies at 95

‘All in the Family,’ ‘Maude’ Writer Austin Kalish Dies at 95
Prolific comedy writer Austin Kalish, who with his wife Irma wrote landmark episodes of “Maude” and “All in the Family,” as well as the pilot for “Gilligan’s Island,” died early Wednesday. He was 95.

Kalish’s son, writer-producer Bruce Kalish, confirmed his death in a Facebook post Thursday. “He squeezed every bit of life he had out of his 95 years here on this planet,” Bruce Kalish wrote. “You may not have known him but you watched his shows.”

Austin “Rocky” Kalish and Irma Kalish wrote one of the most talked-about episodes of comedy in primetime history, the 1973 “Maude’s Choice” episode of the Bea Arthur comedy in which the titular character wrestles with the decision to have an abortion after an unexpected pregnancy. Airing in the same year that the Supreme Court issued its Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion, the episode brought the polarizing issue squarely into America’s living rooms.

Best Bond Scenes: The Roger Moore era part 2: the 1980s

Following James Bond’s out of this world experience in the financially successful (665 million, adjusted for inflation) if artistically vapid Moonraker, the series’ sole producer, Albert Broccoli, thought it best to venture in a different direction, one that would feel slightly more grounded, all the while still playing on the strengths of his star: cool wit, affable mannerism and charm. A new director in John Glenn was now on board, who would go on to direct every single entry from the 80s, including Timothy Dalton’s two adventures. A new production designer in Peter Lamont was also now in charge of sets. Both had worked their way up in the ‘Bond family business’ so to speak, and, along with the leftover story elements from the far grittier Ian Fleming novels, the 007 films of the early 80s would take on a different tone and feel from the voodoo, space travel and

Adam and Naomi Scott on Fake Penises and Troubled Marriages in ‘The Overnight’
If you’ve heard of the comedy “The Overnight,” odds are you’ve heard about the male nudity displayed by stars Adam Scott and Jason Schwartzman. The latter is shown to be generously endowed while the former is … not. When asked at the film’s premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival if prosthetics were used, one of the stars was quick to answer. “Adam jumped up to say they were absolutely prosthetics, both of them,” says Naomi Scott, the film’s producer and Adam’s wife of 10 years. “He wanted to make that very clear.”

Set to play the Los Angeles Film Festival this week before a theatrical release on June 19, “The Overnight” tells the story of a couple (Scott and Taylor Schilling) who relocate with their young son to Seattle. When they meet Kurt (Schwartzman) and his son at a park, they’re excited by the possibility of a new friendship.

Kurt Sutter Attacks Google: Stop Profiting from Piracy (Guest Column)

Kurt Sutter Attacks Google: Stop Profiting from Piracy (Guest Column)
Open Letter to the Creative Community — Dear Family, Friends and Enemies:

Recently, I responded to a Google-sponsored article in Slate. In my retort, I bitch-slapped Google and its half-bright shill for misrepresenting the truth about piracy and copyright laws.

I won’t bore you by repeating myself, but in summary: Google is the establishment. They are a multibillion-dollar monopoly, and we creatives are just another revenue source. Our work drives their clicks. They don’t care if the click goes to a legitimate site or a pirate site with owners who dabble in human trafficking.

The truth is, they don’t give a shit about free speech, and are the antithesis of their own mantra, “Don’t be evil.”

Not to go all techno-biblical on you, but I’m just a lame, dial-up David, throwing paper pebbles at a 2-terabit army of Robo-Goliaths. So, that’s why I’m disrupting your morning read.

Vulture Festival Video: Adam and Naomi Scott Discuss The Greatest Event in Television History
There have been few ideas as bizarrely noble as Adam and Naomi Scott’s The Greatest Event in Television History project, and we were excited to hyperanalyze the meticulously crafted series of specials with the married producers at our inaugural Vulture Festival. The premise behind Greatest Event is simple: frame-for-frame reenactments of the opening-credits sequences from semi-obscure 1970s and ’80s programs, such as Simon and Simon and Too Close for Comfort. To make the four installments that have aired on Adult Swim to date, the Scotts recruited some impressive names, including Jon Hamm, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Tom Hanks, and Billy Joel. In their deep-dive interview with Vulture's Denise Martin at the Festival, they reveal that email exchanges with Jon Hamm sparked the idea, recount a memorable visit to Billy Joel’s house on Long Island, and divulge details about the Beverly Hills, 90210 re-creation that never was.

Watch Adam Scott and Paul Rudd's Bosom Buddies Reenactment Side by Side With the Original

  • Vulture
Last night, Adult Swim aired the fourth and final installment in Adam Scott's Greatest Event in Television History series, in which he and some of his pals create frame-for-frame reenactments of the opening credits for eighties TV shows (after ten minutes of mockumentary footage about the making of the reenactment). He'd already tackled Simon & Simon, Hart to Hart, and Too Close for Comfort, so last night, he teamed with Paul Rudd to remake the lengthy, exposition-heavy opening to the Tom HanksPeter Scolari drag sitcom Bosom Buddies. (Gillian Jacobs takes the Donna Dixon role, Aidy Bryant does the late Wendie Jo Sperber, Parks and Rec writer Aisha Muharrar is Telma Hopkins, and Mo Collins nails Holland Taylor in just one face.) Watch the re-creation and the original side-by-side and marvel at the unicycle and handball skills Adam Scott had to master to pull this off. And how long did it
