Procter and Gamble has made several of its cancelled soaps, including Texas, available on-line and free of charge on the AOL Video site. Other P&G offerings are Another World, Edge of Night and Search for Tomorrow.

Texas went through many metamorphoses before it finally gelled towards the end of its run in 1982. By that time, Gail Kobe and Pamela Long were producing and writing the show. Long had a double role on the show in also portraying Ashley Linden Marshall.
