When he captured two notorious badguys back in Hazzard County, bumpkin deputy Enos was invited to join a Special Branch of the Los Angeles Police. His country manners annoy his black partner Turk and Lt. Broggi, but he functions as a cop nevertheless. Narration is in the form of letters home to Enos' girl Daisy Duke. Written by

Yeah, Enos was like McCloud and Gomer Pyle, who was based on Andy Griffith's character in No Time For Sergeants. Enos's personal car was something like a 1968 or 1969 Chevelle with a Weiand tunnel ram intake manifold and two four-barrels. He bought it in California with money from selling some hogs back at home in Georgia. Funny, I never heard of Enos's hogs on The Dukes of Hazzard. Does his family tend his hogs for him while he's away from home? Maybe hogs run wild in Georgia like branded cattle in the West. Enos was always talking about his hogs back at home. Enos and Turk got involved in prosecuting prostitutes (Enos called them "harlots"), cracking down on cocaine traffickers, and going to Nevada for a prisoner. There was an episode with a lady truck driver, and Enos showed he could drive a truck. Obviously the only people who watched Enos were his fans from The Dukes of Hazzard, but the show might have lasted at least another season, you'd think. Actually, it might have had more potential than the DOH. Gomer Pyle lasted more than one season.
