Comedy fit for hard core fans only
ckormos19 August 2016
Unfortunately the monkey has to die for the story to get started. Our hero blames to the doctor but the cause of death is – as they say – complicated. The nonsense comedy then continues for a good 90 minutes.

This movie is only for hard core fans. If you don't know that Lau Ga-Yung is Beardie's nephew, if you can't name ten other movies that the Prime Minister of Funny Faces (Dean Shek) appeared in, if you haven't followed Eric Tsang's career from just another stunt man to a lead actor triad boss, if you think Mars is just a planet, then you are just not going to get this movie. After you have watched at least a thousand martial arts movies from the 1960s to present, then you can sit down and enjoy this one, otherwise you will not like this movie because you simply won't get it. The first thing to get is that it pokes fun at itself and every martial arts movie ever made up until 1979.

But what about the fights? They are not the best but they are good enough. This is no masterpiece just a fun 90 minutes and then you will forget all about it. I rate it average but as warned only for the hard core fan.
