Good show

I was in grade 4 at the time, but I remember a bit of this show. I used to laugh at it all the time. Kind of like the Rockford Files, with the Angel and Jim mix, but on every show. Show did not last long. I remember the one guy's car taken the abuse all the time. The other guy would con some poor person in thinking, ie Beverly Hills cops style that he was with some organization. Maybe, too ahead of its time. Would like to see it again to see if I grew out of it. Never on reruns. My Uncle and Dad loved the show. I guess it too short of a series to go on re-runs. ABC used to be a good network at one time. At least the low budget reality shows craze has left us. The budgets and quality will rise. Who wants to see someone order golf culbs by the phone. like on The Appentice.

funny as hell -- Nonstop laughter, my all time favorite

It's really too bad this series never got a chance to develop a following. It was replaced by specials for several weeks. Jeff Goldblum, a virtual unknown at the time was as funny as hell. His innocent original look and demeanor was priceless. This series stood out from all other shows at the time, and still does in my opinion.

Unique & Refreshing

This was a terrific series of a con man & a businessman who get together as PI's. A wonderful plotline which continued into a great though short lived series, unfortunately. As far as I know this has not aired since the invention of VCR's, or at least I should say since most owned one & blank tapes were widely available. Isn't it a shame that so many real good series as this one were short lived. To name a few (The Outlaws, Airwolf, even Star Trek TOS & look what it started). What's wrong with those guys in Hollywood anyway....
