Sex & Nudity

There is one sex scene in the film where you see man and woman rolling on a bed perhaps naked and brief shots of breasts in same scene. Another scene where a character is discribing about what he wants to do to a woman and alot of other sexual comments around and not around woman. Men's buttocks are shown in one small scene. A shot of Nick Nolte's buttocks as he get's in a tub.

Violence & Gore

There is one football player who get's his leg broken, another player get's his nose broken badly but can't see the violence done to him clearly. The main character shows that he is in alot of pain and you hear bones cracking, and needles are put into him by the violence.

Profanity

There are possibly over 10 uses of the 'f' word. Uses of the word 'bastard', and alot other cuss words that aren't as violent. Football players cuss at each other alot of the times use words such as 'faggot', 'son-of-a-bitch', and others.

One football player yells out "c*cks*cker" in the locker room when launching a tirade.

The main character seems to have been taken all sorts of medication, and describes that he smokes grass. There are few scenes where characters drink beer/wine.

One scene involves the two main characters pouring out several kinds of prescription pills from their various bottles and swallowing several pills each while drinking beer.

We see the main characters smoking marijuana on several occasions.

Not much. Some football players get hit really hard in the film almost caused them to pass out.
