Storyline

The Tramp Schirmflicker is on his way through the snowy forest in the Swiss Alps. Suddenly some hunters shoots a rabbit, which falls dead to the ground in front of him. He grabs the rabbit and runs away before the hunters with their dogs can reach it. Later, as he is is eating the rabbit another Tramp, Korber turns up. Sharing the rabbit with a glass of whiskey, they celebrate their new friendship. Schirmflicker is on his way to Hinterau, where he want to find his lost Love Rosi. In spite of the cold and the snowstorm, Schirmflicker wants to reach Hinterau in any case in this night. Next morning Schirmflicker is gone and Korber follows his Buddy's path and finds him frozen in the snow, close to the border stone between two tiny villages Vorder- and Hinterau. Since no village wants to pay the funeral for the tramp, his body is moved over the border to each village several times, until a testament is found... Written by Andy Svensson
