When Trapper's son J.T. a recent medical school graduate who's a bit of a delinquent gets in trouble which causes him to lose the job he was hoping to get. So Trapper reluctantly gives him a job at the hospital and he continues to act immature.
When a friend of Shoop's a nurse at a public school is attacked and when the police tell her no one is willing to come forward to say who her attacker is. She goes and fills in for her friend so that she could find the attacker. And the detective assigned to the case is telling her to be careful. And eventually her work at the hospital starts to suffer.
A young boy is brought to the hospital, needing a transplant from a close relative. They discover that his father is a reclusive millionaire. J.T. calls his office and is taken to his home where he tries to implore the man to help his son.
An actor who played a popular character on television is brought to the hospital and everybody id pleased to see him. Later he's informed by the company that owns the rights to the character he played is telling him to cease appearing as him. Also his old co-star who's now a successful businessman who didn't like being the butt of the joke comes to see him and tells him he's glad that when the show was canceled. And the man is left with nothing.
Trapper and J.T. go to Tahow for a little R & R. While there a girl falls into a frozen lake, J.T. saves her and she is brought to the hospital. but she's in a coma. Her uncle, a very outspoken TV personality, is upset that they either are responsible for his niece's condition or are not doing all they can. So he goes on his show attacking them.
