Monday Ratings: The Bachelor Hits a Finale Low, 24: Legacy Rises
Our long numerical nightmare is over.

Following an extended delay caused by a weekend power outage at one of its data centers, Nielsen releasing the TV ratings for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night. TVLine will be posting each day’s batch separately as they trickle in — and frankly, for my own sanity I likely won’t bother with many sitcoms or stationary shows — so grab a pint of Zakarian Ale and sit back….

ABC | The Bachelor drew 8.4 million total viewers and a 2.7 demo rating, rising 18 and 23 percent week-to-week (to season highs), but down 12 and 7 percent year-over-year to mark lows for a finale.

This Is Us: 7 Theories on How Jack Died
Even though it seems like Jack Pearson is on a collision course with certain death, based on his drunk driving at the end of last week’s This Is Us, series creator Dan Fogelman has assured audiences that the Pearson pop’s demise is “a little ways away.” So it’s not likely to happen in Tuesday’s season finale.

But it will happen.

Game of Thrones: 8 (Mostly) Plausible Ways Jon Snow Can Be in Season 6
Like Ned Stark’s bastard himself, when it comes to whether Jon Snow will be in Game of Thrones‘ sixth season, we know nothing.

Of course, that doesn’t stop us from having a few theories.

And we’re not talking about the “Kit Harington hasn’t cut his hair!” and “Kit Harington spotted in Belfast airport!” conjecture that has made the rounds in the past few weeks.

GoT's Isaac Hempstead Wright Confirms Bran's Season 6 Return
Though the children of Ned Stark have had a particularly rough go as of late, here’s some news that would make Eddard proud: Bran will definitely be in the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, portrayer Isaac Hempstead Wright says.

In an interview with the Irish Examiner, Wright confirmed what most fans had guessed: After sitting out Season 5, his character will be back in play for Season 6.

“I can’t say a lot, but I am back in this season, and it’s going to get particularly interesting with Bran,” he said, adding that the series begins shooting again at the end of July.

True Detective Recap: Crazy Eyes, Broken Hearts, Can Lose
Anyone else getting the feeling that the kindest thing the men and women of True Detective can do is douse Vinci in gasoline, strike a match and leave the cesspool of a city to flame out of existence?

Because the more Ani, Ray and Paul try to solve Ben Caspere’s murder, the worse things get — professionally and personally at first, but then bloody and brutal at the end of the hour. And no one really thinks that the town manager’s murderer died in that shootout, do they?

We got a lot of Frank begging for money and Ani looking irked this week,

It's Ninja Brother vs. Ninja Brothers In The Live-Action 'League of Legends: Shadowfall'

In order to win, an ambitious brother embraces the darkness in this fan film based on "League of Legends."

The three-part "Shadowfall" stars Isky Fay and David Cheung as Shen and Zed, shedding some light on the backstory of the two martial artists, as the ambitious and imatient Zed (Cheung) embraces his shadow powers in order to surpass his talented sibling. All three parts of "Shadowfall" made their debut today on Machinima Realm.

"Shadowfall" joins "League of Legends: Blind Ambition," another short which made its premiere today from the brothers at K&K Productions. That mini-movie took a look at the origins of blind monk Lee Sin as he doled out some judicious butt-kicking against scarred assassin Katarina. The shorts, based on Riot Games' "League of Legends" are from filmmakers Harry and George Kirby.

See Blind Monk Lee Sin Kick Butt In The Live-Action 'League of Legends: Blind Ambition'

"League of Legends" character Lee Sin takes center stage in this short recounting his origin.

Blind monk Lee Sin is the "LoL" character at the center of "Blind Ambition," which features the origins of the "League" champion's terrible scars as his past collides with a battle in the present against the assassin Katarina. "Blind Ambition" made its debut today on Machinima Prime.

The fan-made short is the work of K&K Productions--brothers George and Harry Kirby--who produced a live-action "DragonBallZ" fan trailer and have carried over what they learned there to Riot Games' wildly popular franchise.

So what do you think of "Blind Ambition?" The Kirbys utilize a similar desaturated palette for both, blending some convincingly-staged action with CG. However, both productions do tend towards a bit of the shaky cam, which sometimes disrupts the action.

Blu-ray Review: What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Anniversary Edition

  • Cinelinx
One classic movie that somehow escaped my eyes in the 40 years I've walked this Earth is What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? I know that in many people's eyes, any credibility I have as a movie reviewer just went down the tubes and I'm sorry. Thanks to Warner Bros. and their obsession with releasing every film on Blu-ray I've now had the opportunity to see it in high-definition.

There's no denying the power in the performances of both Joan Crawford and Bette Davis as they spar off each other throughout this brilliant thriller. My only complaint is that the 133-minute running time could have been cut down by trimming some of the fat off the edges.

Two sisters live together in a large house in the heart of Hollywood. Ex-child star "Baby" Jane Hudson is forced by circumstance and guilt to take care of her crippled ex-movie star sister, Blanche.

Blu-ray Review: Fascinating Camp of ‘What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?’

  • HollywoodChicago.com
Chicago – Robert Aldrich’s “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” is a fascinating slice of Hollywood camp, a journey behind the front door of faded tinseltown on multiple levels, both in the film itself and through the notoriously feud between its two stars, Bette Davis & Joan Crawford. The film was recently released in a nice digibook Blu-ray release “Anniversary Edition” (50th) from Warner Bros. and it’s one of the more unusual movies you could be for the classic film fan in your family this holiday season. Or any other.

Rating: 4.0/5.0

The stories behind the scenes of “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” have undeniably influenced the notable cult reputation of this camp classic. Davis really kicking Crawford in the head. Crawford loading her pockets with weights so that when Davis had to carry her, she sprained her back. It’s the kind of thing that makes a production so much more fascinating.

LeBron James, Emmy Nominations And Lindsay Lohan In Today's Twitter-Wood

LeBron James, Emmy Nominations And Lindsay Lohan In Today's Twitter-Wood
Emmy nominations for "Lost" may have exceeded those by other programs, save "Glee" and "The Pacific," but posts in Twitter-Wood today didn't care about the numbers. Some folks congratulated their friends, and others, like Conan O'Brien and Steve Agee, offered more sarcastic, bittersweet responses.

Feelings about LeBron James' hour-long Espn special and his prolonged decision over which NBA team to play with next season tended to be quite a bit more unanimous, meanwhile. I'll let you click on down and see what Patton Oswalt and Michael Ian Black said, as well as who called James the "Justin Bieber" of the NBA.

Star Wars Day, The Captured Times Square Bombing Suspect And Tony Nominations In Today's Twitter-Wood
If you didn't know that a Star Trek movie screenwriter was nominated for a Tony this year, you do now. Brent Spiner pointed out in Twitter-Wood today that "Red" playwright John Logan also wrote the story for "Star Trek: Nemesis." The other big "Star" franchise got some attention too, with numerous posts celebrating Star Wars Day.

Kim Kardashian was happy to hear that a suspect was in custody regarding the attempted Times Square boming in New York, while Tom Hanks was content just to be on his new film's set ten minutes early. Team Jacob takes on an entirely different meaning if you happen to be a "Lost" follower. One "Twilight" actress has been evaluating whether or not she wants to cross over, though. She wasn't wasn't alone, as Twitter-Wood made their allegiances and alternative lack of interests known last night.

In other tweets, Snooki from "Jersey Shore" popped up again today after posting a slew of TweetPhotos from an MTV event last night. She's evidently made a new friend in Brody Stevens of "The Hangover." The World Series, Hideki Matsui and Mariah Carey In Today's Twitter-Wood

Yankees supporters were out in force last night, and a few Twitter-Wood citizens were right by the field uploading pics. Brody Stevens may have shot the most enviable of the day, apparently getting soon-to-be-mvp Hideki Matsui in the dugout before the game. Jeremy Piven caught another high-quality photo-op, though, standing with his fellow Chicagoan Brian Urlacher.

Poor John Favreau was stuck in the editing room for "Iron Man 2," though, which he noted on his account. Larry King, Eliza Dushku and other added their thoughts after Phillies finally went down. Check out all of their tweets, along with Brett Ratner's pic with Mariah Carey after wrapping her video and Andy Milonakis. They're all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 5, 2009.
