The Mercedes convertible used in the film was the personal car of S. Bryan Hickox. Saving the production the cost of a rental, he later regretted allowing filming using his car, because of the camera mounting frames denting the car's surface. Picture cars were not provided free to film companies, usually costing expensive daily rates. Bryan never got the fine auto's dents removed nor pounded out, nor a paint job. See more »
