The golf course and locations were scheduled for filming in Hawaii until the teamsters struck the production company; whereupon, the entire cast and crew returned to LA. The Ojai Golf and Country Club replaced the Hawaiian Golf Course; the hotel suite filmed at the Ojai Country Club was duplicated on a Paramount Sound Stage to film intimate bedroom night scenes; Studio City residential homes and streets were filmed for additional locations, which were scouted and selected after returning the company from Hawaii.
