A space-ship gets lost and is forced to make an emergency landing on an unknown planet. The planet looks much like Earth, only with no trace of civilization. Soon the crew discovers that there are dinosaurs on the planet, and blood-thirsty buggers at that. The crew hopes to be found and rescued, but they have to struggle to survive until then. Written by

Did You Know?
On June 24, 2011, the Portland, Oregon composers and musicians collective Filmusik gave "Planet of Dinosaurs" its full treatment: screening the film at the Hollywood Theater in Portland with the sound shut off, while the local progressive jazz band Blue Cranes performed a new, original musical soundtrack live, and voice actors from Willamette Radio Workshop recreated the dialogue with live foley. Jim Aupperle, co-writer, associate producer, and head of special visual effects for the original film, was on hand for the show and said later, "... I don't think I ever enjoyed our film as much as I did that evening." Filmusik will recreate the show in an outdoor show at Sewallcrest Park in Portland on Aug. 17, 2013. See more
