The same people behind "Support Your Local Sheriff" and "Support Your Local Gunfighter" made this movie. Although It is not as good, or as original as either of the above mentioned movies, it has a similar sense of humor and tone. Don Meredith replaces James Garner as the male lead and although he is very likeable he is no actor. They elevated Suzanne Pleshette into the starring role to carry the movie. As in the Support Your movies Burt Kennedy directs based on a script by William Bowers with Harry Morgan, and Gene Evans also starring. While it is certainly not a great movie, it is certainly a nice average western comedy.
