Several people are attacked and killed by a shark, but we never see their actual deaths. Sometimes we see nothing; occasionally we see some blood in the water, but nothing graphic.

Brody finds the burnt corpse of a woman who was involved in a boating accident.

We are told a diver suffered an embolism.

The shark is electrocuted and dies.

The shark attacks can be intense and somewhat scary - they are usually accompanied by frightening music and lots of suspense.

This is the least violent of all the Jaws films and would be appropriate for 11+ if they can handle several implied deaths.
