"Intercambio de parejas frente al mar" (Couples meeting in front of the sea) is a curious film, an almost amateurish road movie featuring some couples who travel from Sevilla to the coast of Cadiz (a beautiful place, full of little white villages and wonderful beaches). The movie is erotic, there are a lot of nude scenes, and the acting is not too good (well, in fact the leads are not professional actors), but the film can be seen as a great documentary about the places that the couples visit. Good and very underrated, almost unknown.

Unbelievable cinema of the time with the mere excuse of showing nudity

Definitely the cinema between 1976 and approximately 1983 reaches unlikely points, seen from the current perspective, it is even ridiculous. Today it would be impossible to make this film, let alone its commercial distribution, it would simply be for the playboy or porn channel. Although it seems with metaphysical pretensions, it seems one more of many, outside the reality of the Spanish Puritan society of the time, which had overcome the dictatorship only three years ago; any screenplay motive serves as an excuse to show nudity or fictional sex scenes.
