This is a pretty weird haunted house flick that ultimately turned out to be a bit of a let down. It has it's moments though, and any movie starring the late, great and always welcome Victor Buono (seen here as Satan) is definitely worth a look. The film is kind of like "the spooky old mansion is really a doorway to Hell" type movie. I saw it many years ago on video and remember being disappointed because it started out reasonably scary and then got really silly... especially after Victor came on the scene. I'd probably appreciate his sense of humor more now, but back then I had high hopes for some good scares after seeing the likes of "Halloween" and "Nightmare On Elm Street." Probably seeing the movie now (and not expecting much), it would be good, dumb fun. Wish I could find a copy.
