Storyline

One of a series of two hour made for TV movies that feature most of the main cast (and some recurring cast members) of "Emergency!" after its run as a regular series. In this outing an ill fated DC-8 crashes down on a Los Angeles subdivision after crashing into a small plane (which lands in the LA River). Our heros Gage and DeSoto are trapped while treating a young girl at her house while Squad 51 gets clobbered by one of the DC-8's engines! Written by Jason R. DeCesare

Trivia

During the airplane crash fire, real Los Angeles County Firefighter Jim Howe of Engine 9 can be seen pulling fire hose to attack the fire. In 1991, Firefighter Specialist Howe was killed in the line of duty fighting a commercial fire in Huntington Park. Howe served at Station 9 in South Central Los Angeles from the mid 1970's until his death in 1991. Station 9 was later closed in the 1990's. Eighteen years after his passing, Engine 216 out of Watts Station 16 was renumbered Engine 9 in his honor. See more »

Great Viewing

Both Kevin and Randy(along with the rest of the crew)did a fantastic job with this one. Their roles as firefighter/paramedics was a definite plus. I am looking to get this video first chance I get. I loved the series and the movies as well. They were "well done" in my opinion.
