  • A woman is found shot in the head - powder burns on the wound are visible, and some dry blood.
  • A woman is found with her throat cut - not graphic, but there is lots of blood.
  • A woman is shot while mid-sentence leaving a bloody wound.

  • One use of "Go to hell" and 1 or 2 "damns"
  • 'Jesus H Christ' is said once near the start. One audible use of 'Jesus' and an inaudible use of 'Jesus'

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several characters smoke and drink.
  • On two occasions, characters are visibly intoxicated. One of them recites lines of poetry about the use of alcohol.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • The film ends with a graphic murder-suicide. Two characters end up with bloody head wounds.
  • As Poirot speculates on whether or not various characters could be the murderer, we see them observing a man getting shot in the leg and then committing the murder which involves shooting a sleeping woman in the head. Some of the renditions show more than others, but none are graphic. At one point we see powder burns on her temple.
