Trivia

Amazingly, David Seltzer, the screenwriter of both Omen 1 and 2 denies that Damien was named after the lead character in the Exorcist, Damien Karras, even though the Exorcist was one of the highest grossing movies of all time in 1973, and the Omen, another very similar demon child flick, came out just a couple years later, and the lead character in both movies is named Damien! Goofs

When been grilled by the teacher regarding important dates in history, he reports the date of the Battle of the Nile as being 1789, when in fact it was 1798. Damien is supposed to be incapable of error during trances like this. See more »

Damien hits puberty.
22 November 1998 | by (Boston, MA) – See all my reviews

If you liked the first installment, you probably will like Damien-Omen II. It still has the creepiness involved in the first movie and the theme of good vs. evil. But like the first Omen movie, it is quite predictable. Some of the kill scenes are good though, especially the elevator scene.

Take a shot and rent this one. Just don't expect to see a classic.
