Storyline

Alexander Armsworth and his family move to an authentic antibellum mansion, which once was owned by a river pirate. Alexander is drawn into a century-old mystery when he sees the ghost of a little girl, and she asks for his help in finding the "child of glass" by reciting a riddle. He has only a day or two to solve the riddle, or be haunted for the rest of his life! Written by Marta Dawes <smdawes@home.com>

Trivia

While most of the setting is authentic, the production company could not find a suitable crypt in the Danville, Kentucky cemetary, so the climactic sequence was shot in a fake tomb constructed in the actual graveyard. The phony mausoleum became a local attraction after the film aired. See more »

Quotes

Alexander Armsworth: Sleeping lies the murdered lass, vainly cries the child of glass, when the two shall be as one, the spirits journey will be done.

This one always makes me cry

This is a great ghost story. It stayed with me from the time I first saw it as a child. I just loved it. A little french girl's ghost on an old spooky southern plantation. This was based on a book called "The Ghost Belonged to Me". After watching this film, I bought the book and it's sequel, which were just as good as the movie. If you're looking for a good ghost story, this is it.
