Own the rights?
When I saw this movie, (mid 80's) gay's rights were still not an issue in my home country. This movie places this issue in the forefront of society. There are gays all over. No matter how much we close our eyes. They are members of our families. We love them, we talk to them every day. The movie takes an aspect where what we see it not necessarily what we get.
