Our Future Depends On Our Attitude Towards the Source Of All Life., 24 July 2006
Author: soflwrs from Brighton, East Sussex, England, G.B.

Revisiting the entire Cousteau Odyssey series - some several hours of viewing a quarter of a century on - has been a magnificent experience. The programmes continue to inform, surprise and provoke.

I heartily recommend the new 2006 three-disc d.v.d. re-issue.

I'm unable to imagine how any serious-minded person - one holding genuine love, interest and concern towards the world - could possibly be left unmoved by Cousteau's Odyssey, or find it a disappointment. It is a true adventure of the natural world, covering within itself a huge range of geographical and historical subjects on a global scale. Any real disappointment must surely come from an awareness of man's collective failure to have taken greater heed of the kind of message highlighted by Cousteau - all those years ago - in his life's work.
