In Galactica 1980 we see that Adama, Boomer and Boxey are all still alive, Boxey grown to manhood and now known as Troy, Boomer now having taken over Colonel Tigh's role as second in command of the Galactica. Starbuck is last seen marooned on a desolate planet roughly a decade ago and although he has a Cylon ship to escape in he does not rejoin the fleet before it reaches Earth. The fate of all the other characters is left unknown although Troy looks at a picture of Apollo and refers to him in the past tense implying that he has died in the intervening years. At the end of Galactica 1980 the fleet secretly unloads it's population onto Earth, blending in with contemporary human society then draws the pursuing Cylons away from their new home
