Storyline

Peter Parker has a laboratory accident that changes his life. He finds himself with greatly increased strength, the ability to stick to walls to climb them without needing hand and footholds and a "spider-sense" (presented in this series as clairvoyance) that allows him to sense danger. Designing a costume and a webshooter that allows him to fire a strong artificial web, he fights crimes as Spider-Man. Written by Kenneth Chisholm <kchishol@execulink.com>

Trivia

In the comics, Peter Parker was a high school student who got bitten by a radioactive spider and selfishly used his powers until his lack of responsibility caused his Uncle Ben's demise. In the show, Peter is a grad student when the spider bites him and learns responsibility despite not having Uncle Ben (or Uncle Ben's untimely demise) to point him in the right direction. See more »

A fairly descent show
19 January 2002 | by (Metairie,Louisiana) – See all my reviews

It couldn't be the hit show that The Incredible Hulk show was. But it did allright in spots. At least it wasn't boring like The Bionic Woman. It may have had a few badly written episodes. And some revealing mistakes. But the acting was pretty good at times. And the wall crawling scenes were terrific also. It may not have been the best superhero show. But it was not the worst. Nicholas Hammond was a lot older then the comic book Peter Parker. But he was still good in the role. I hope when the Spider Man movie comes out, that fans will rediscover this series.
