Sex & Nudity

4/10

Near the beginning, a girl is shown flirting with another girl, implying that she's a lesbian. Very mild and easy to miss.

Violence & Gore

10/10

In the infamous opening sequence, a woman has her face pressed against a window as her friend bangs on doors pleading for help. The girl is then shoved through and is stabbed through the chest twice. Then she falls on her knees and the killer stabs her hardly through the chest causing her to have blood flow from her mouth and she screams. Then she is tied up with some type of rope and is stabbed viciously through the heart around four times and you see the knife entering and leaving the heart. Now dead, her head smashes through a large glass pane and falls through, snapping her neck and killing her friend who is pinned to the ground by the debris.

Suzy faints and has a bloody nose. She soon recovers, however.

A man is killed by his dog. We see the dog biting the man in the neck, intercut with brief close-ups of flesh and muscle tissue being torn out. Very graphic and brutal

A woman tries to escape a murderer , but she falls right into some razor wires and becomes bloody. And then, in an extreme close-up, the girl has her throat slit.

A resurrected corpse is seen. She has metal pins stuck in her eyes, and she is covered in blood.

Suzy impales Helena Markos through the neck with a needle, which rips through her neck causing bloody results

It's implied that an explosion burns and kills several people, although only the explosion itself is seen while screams are heard. We see many people woth blood pouring down their faces and heads.

Profanity

4/10

Mild language

1 use of b*tch, 1 use of damn, and the rest is name-calling(busy buddy, idiot, snake, etc..)

4/10

Some use of cigarettes and alcohol.

9/10

The opening scene is famous for being one of the scariest and frightening scenes in horror.

The ending is very startling and terrifying.

The entire film has a very intense atmosphere with over-saturated colors and blaring music.

Overall score: 31/50. Often considered to be one of the most creepiest movies ever made.

Recommended MPAA Rating: Rated R for sequences of graphic bloody brutal violence amd gore, disturbing images, brief language, some smoking and terror throughout
