"There is a great disturbance in the Force..." What if Batman and Superman fought with lightsabers? What if the DC universe had Jedi? What if Jabba the Hut was Superman's ultimate villain? This is just a fun trailer made by a fan, and we'll never see this crossover in real life, but it's worth a quick watch anyway. According to TrailerTrack, this mashup was made by Zack Snyder (or at least posted by him on one of his own social media accounts) and includes a title card at the end stating: Dark Side Knight v SuperJedi: Dawn of the Alliance. This trailer isn't perfect, but is an amusing mashup of the two universes. Check it out below. Here's the Star Wars+Batman v Superman mashup trailer Dark Side Knight v SuperJedi, on YouTube: Thanks again to TrailerTrack for posting this. This teaser trailer is a recreation of the very first »

The annual tradition continues with a live take on the cult John Waters comedy turned hit Broadway musical
That poor living doll guy though. His character was played by Zac Efron who is now trending purely because people are saying how much they prefer him.
am i really about to spend the next 3 hours complaining zac efron didn't reprise his best role? yes #HairsprayLive
Tracy just mouth-assaulted that guy who she has a crush on without consent. Plus he looks like a doll that’s come to life. But they’re not racists which makes them heroes in this awful city.
So Tracy, or Iggy as we can now call her, is stealing the dance moves from the black kids and using them »

It is not known how many Darth Vader helmets were made for production, but based on all of the reference materials in the archives, only one helmet was used in the filming of A New Hope, unfortunately, there is no record of what happened to the original molds that were made from Brian Muir’s sculpture. At the end of filming in England, the complete screen-used costume, including the helmet, was sent to the USA, and makeup artist and creature maker for the film, Rick Baker, cast a new set of molds from this screen-used helmet. These molds were then used to make the Darth Vader promotional touring costumes in 1977.

While Disney and LucasFilm's first Star Wars spin-off doesn't hit theaters until December 16, preparations are currently under way in the heart of Hollywood for the Los Angeles premiere at the Pantages Theater. Hollywood Boulevard is currently shut down to prepare for the premiere, which takes place Saturday, December 10, with one section of the street fenced off from the prying eyes of pedestrians. Earlier today, Los Angeles' local Fox affiliate, Fox 11, caught an aerial glimpse at what's behind the barricade, a massive X-Wing ship.
The video debuted on the Fox 11 Twitter, and while it's only 25 seconds long, we get a good glimpse at this X-Wing ship, parked right in the middle of the closed-off street. It's possible that this is one of the practical ships that were used on the set itself, but that has yet to be confirmed. Since X-Wings play a pivotal part in the story, it's fitting to »
Star Wars has definitely landed in Hollywood.
Preparations for Saturday's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story premiere have already seen some big road closures on Hollywood Blvd. — and on Tuesday, an X-Wing was spotted in the area where the stars of the film will gather in a few days.
Pictures quickly spread on social media, as apparently keeping an X-Wing secret is even trickier than keeping plans for the Death Star under wraps.
The red-carpet premiere itself also prompted major road closures in Hollywood, with the X-Wing now clogging streets up further. Road closures will last until »

It is no secret that director Zack Snyder has a very deep fondness for Star Wars. Even before the release of Man of Steel, he was sharing Batman V Superman and Star Wars mashup images from a galaxy far, far away and the DC Extended Universe. Now, he has taken things a step further and created his own mashup trailer, bringing together Star Wars and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The trailer, titled Darkside Knight V Superjedi, started out as a Vero exclusive, but made its way onto YouTube so that we can all enjoy it. Or at least see it, since the amount of enjoyment fans will derive will vary. In it, Zack Snyder still pits Ben Affleck's Batman against Henry Cavill's Superman, but they both have lightsabers this time. Also, there is a lot of various Star Wars dialogue in the background from seemingly every »
White supremacists are calling for people to boycott “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” accusing the film of promoting an “anti-white agenda.” Per Forward, according to a Reddit post by GenFrancoPepe titled “(((Star Wars))) Is Anti-White Social Engineering,” many are angrily pointing out the casting of women and multicultural actors who rebel against an Empire full of villainous white men.
“Nearly all of the major characters are non-Whites and the main character is an empowered White female,” the post reads. “This film should be boycotted.”
Another user stated that the movie will be a financial failure due to its diverse cast, “The new films are going to flop big league anyway. You can push the female heroes as much as you like, but even most women don’t find it interesting.”

“He called me a sh*t!” That’s the response we got from Alan Tudyk, who plays the new droid K-2So in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, when asked what happened when he met Anthony Daniels, the man behind one of the franchise’s most iconic droids, C-3Po. Fandango sat down with Tudyk for an extensive conversation about joining the Star Wars universe for the first time, and playing a different kind of droid – one with an extremely dry wit to go with the strength of...

Real life is often boring and/or awful, so mankind was presented with a wonderful gift a few weeks ago when Carrie Fisher revealed that she and Harrison Ford had an affair while filming Star Wars in the ’70s. It was the sort of story that everyone can enjoy, whether you’re a fan of Star Wars, extramarital affairs, or gossip about which iconic movie stars are bad in bed, but Fisher later suggested that Ford was probably mad at her for exposing their old secrets. That addendum seemed like it would be the end of the saga, but now Entertainment Tonight has caught up with Mark Hamill to see if he has any thoughts on this whole affair thing.
Unfortunately for anyone hoping for more Hollywood drama, though, it turns out that Hamill had no idea it was happening at the time. He was too busy being young and »

Over the summer, Donald Glover performed out in Joshua Tree and debuted songs from his latest album “Awaken, My Love!” The actor, who goes by his rap name Childish Gambino, did six concerts in three days, which were filmed and created into a virtual reality experience for the app Pharos.
Now, the “Atlanta” creator has released a 360 degree Vr music video for his latest single “Me and Your Mama,” which immerses the viewer into the performance and lets them watch from the front row. Just by clicking and dragging the cursor, fans can check out what they missed out on and see Glover singing while covered in neon paint.
The singer/actor is set to release a virtual reality vinyl on January 10. Not much is known about the actual formatting but the vinyl »

The World’s Greatest Detective is flanked by his two trusty sidekicks (Michael Cera’s Robin and Rosario Dawson’s Batgirl) in this IMAX poster for The Lego Batman Movie, and he’s taking them under his wing…of awesomeness.
Indeed with The Joker staging a hostile takeover of Gotham, Batman will need all the help he can muster to overthrow the Clown Prince of Crime. Forced to drop the lonely vigilante shtick, Will Arnett’s pint-sized hero will be fighting to save the city he so loves, and maybe, just maybe, crack a few puns while doing so.
It’s an adventure crammed full of Easter eggs and moments of fan service, according to Lego Movie producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and with Arnett’s sardonic vigilante at the core – a character that threatened to steal the show two years ago – The Lego Batman Movie promises to be »

Gareth Edwards is hang-dog exhausted. Not only has he been working non-stop on “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” for the last two years; there’s no rest for the wicked even just days before it’s due to be released. During the junket for the “Star Wars” spinoff film in San Francisco last weekend, where press were shown 30 minutes of the movie, the filmmaker, who also helmed “Godzilla,” has been subject to unrelenting interviews all day without much break.

Steve Smith of the Baltimore Ravens was feeling The Force all around him on Wednesday when he talked to the media after the team's practice.
The Pro Bowl wide receiver became an instant social media hit when he showed up wearing an epic Yoda onesie, complete with a fantastic hood.
Numerous pictures of Smith's outfit were posted to Twitter and the official team account made sure to get in on the fun, too.
And this is not even the first time Smith has rocked the Star Wars attire. He wore the same Yoda onesie the other day while participating in »

It looks like we can add Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards to the list of fans who’d like to see Ewan McGregor reprising the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi for a Star Wars Anthology movie, with the filmmaker sharing his excitement over the prospect during an interview with The Playlist.
“I would love to see anything with Obi-Wan Kenobi in it. Someone did a really cool illustration online of a half Ewan McGregor, half Alec Guiness; you couldn’t tell the difference. It was like the wilderness years. I just saw that image and I thought, I would love to… that would be interesting. Sort of a samurai movie or something a little bit lonely. Like a very simple one, not an epic battle. Something more lonely and maybe an incident nearly got to a young Luke Skywalker, or who knows…”

Guess he couldn't feel it in The Force.
Mark Hamill told Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview that he had no clue his Star Wars co-stars Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher were having an affair while the trio was shooting A New Hope in England back in 1976.
Fisher broke the news of the real-life Han and Leia romance in her new book, The Princess Diarist, in which she said the pair had multiple "sleepovers" despite the fact that Ford was married at the time.
The rendezvous between the two stayed secret for almost 40 years, and »

Waking up before the alarm goes off can be irritating, especially when there’s still another 90 years to go until you need to get out of bed. This is the situation in which Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt find themselves in the new science-fiction adventure Passengers, when they are roused prematurely by a system malfunction a quarter of the way into their journey through deep space. At least there is one thing on board their spacecraft that will assuage any intergalactic disorientation: an offbeat British character actor.
In this instance, it’s Michael Sheen, who provides drinks and gentle banter in a sleek, deserted bar. A pan down to the nuts-and-bolts of this bartender’s lower half reveals »

Disney and Lucasfilm are proudly wearing its animated Star Wars TV shows on its big screen sleeve. First came news that Forest Whitaker is playing Saw Gerrera, a solider first introduced in Disney's Clone Wars animated series. Now, we have a fresh Rogue One TV spot that contains a very exciting Star Wars Rebels Easter egg.
Low and behold, why yes, that is the now iconic Ghost ship from Star Wars Rebels in one of the scenes contained within this latest sneak peek. Will we see other characters from the series show up? That, we're afraid, has not yet been revealed.
This exciting Easter egg clocks in at the seven-second mark of this 14-second teaser, which comes direct from the Disneyland Experience Youtube page. The Ghost is surrounded by a number of other Rebel ships as it take a Star Destroyer head on in true Rebel fashion. Here's what the »
