Based on a true Military operation by Israeli commandos. An Air France flight is hijacked by the PFLP. The plane has about 100 Jewish passengers. The plane is grounded in Uganda. At one point, Idi Amin can be seen wearing a Glengarry, which is a Scottish military cap, with a red and white tartan ribbon around it. Amin had been in the King's African Rifles, and suffered considerable racism from British officers. The only one to show him any respect was a Scotsman, and thenceforth had an unreciprocated affection for Scotland, even considering himself a pretender to the Scottish throne. See more »

I had no doubts or opinions about the story line since it was based on an actual incident.But the direction was very good and the suspense was steadily built up until the climax. 2 hours of solid,non-stop thrill.
