Pusser was long dead by the time of this second sequel to WT, and it shows. The plot has Pusser preparing to have his exploits filmed by Hollywood! This has been done before, the most glaring example being JOLSON SINGS AGAIN where a lot of the story has to do with Al Jolson's life being turned into a Hollywood biography, which was released as THE JOLSON STORY several years earlier. At least that film had music. This one has the poor man's Joe Don Baker, Bo Svensson, starring for the second time as Pusser and barely able to swing the man's big hickory stick. Svensson also starred in a short-lived TV series, a truly awful series. Talk about milking something to death.
