A poor "B" Movie...........
15 December 2002 | by (pembroke, massachusetts.) – See all my reviews

I saw a trailer for this movie, and it looked awesome. Well, it turned out to be awful; The humor was not funny, and some of the scenes were painfuly slow and boring. On the other hand, David Allen's stop-motion effects for the lake monster was great, there were a few mildly gore scenes, but over all, I found this hard to sit through.

So, the monster effects were great, but the scenes that were susposed to be "suspencful" will inspire snickers, not screams. There was alot of effort put into it, but it was still realy poor.Sure, I have seen worse sea monster movies, not mentioning any names..... (cough cough THE LOCH NESS HORROR cough cough.) so if you like stop motion or Dinosaurs you should watch this, otherwise skip this stinker.
