scary! children are evil.

Scary!

Spooky visual effects and camerawork, weird soundtrack and

other things make for a movie with some real scares in it. Very

well done nightmare sequences.

Between his late, mentally deranged, drug-addicted father on one

side, and his depressed, anxious, hysterical mother on the other;

between the genetic and environmental effects of both; even if the

supernatural were not involved, Marco would be one screwed up

kid. Even still, the kid is inherently evil looking, as are some of his

toys and the art on his bedroom walls; the mother's artwork is also

creepy and/or dismal.
