Fun to watch.
crx_driver15 September 2004
Sort of a 3 Musketeers tribute. Typical fights between the Cardinals guards and the Kings Musketeers. One of whom is Panache. He has 2 rowdy companions as you may have already guessed and they are wine guzzling, swash buckling, butt kicking guys with no fear, and plenty of guts.

The cast worked well together, the action was fun to watch, and while it might be sort of predictable, it was a lot of fun for my whole family (from grade school kids to grandparents). Frankly I liked it a lot, but I can see where picky people would critique it do death. To them I say "Hush! Let the rest of us enjoy it!" So watch it if you get a chance, I think it will make you smile.

A riotous take off on The Three Muskateers
monkeyshine-222 July 2013
A funny, action packed, retro Three Muskateers in the vein of Richard Lester's big screen take off. Wonderful performances and spectacular fencing/fight scenes on a par with the great old swashbuckling films with Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone. In the title role of Panache, Rene Auberjonois (later to be Odo in" StarTrek: Deep Space 9") is brilliant. The production values are top notch as is the direction by Gary Nelson. The scrip by E. Duke Vincent is sharp and clever, perfectly capturing the period . It's romantic and funny and owes a great deal to the great classic film of Cyrano De Bergerac. Altogether this is a great family film, so break out the pop corn and enjoy!
