An important anniversary in the history of the United States is upon us. We can hardly believe it's been 10 years since September 11, 2001. For the anniversary, many television channels are airing or re-airing memorials, specials and movies about that tragic day.

Tragedies have anniversaries too, and with the terrorist attacks of 9/11 approaching the 10-year mark, networks have scheduled several programs analyzing and remembering that tragic day. Projects include the Steven Spielberg-produced Discovery Channel special Rising: Rebuilding Ground Zero, following the construction of a new 104-story One World Trade Center, and Nat Geo’s in-depth documentary interview of former president George W.
