Quotes

Wendy: Have you made love with many girls?
Rick Carlson: What, are you writing a book?
[smiles]
Wendy: No, just curious.
[a beat]
Wendy: Have you?
Rick Carlson: Yeah, a few. Have you made love with many boys?
Wendy: Just once. I didn't really like it, though. We didn't really know what we were doing.
Rick Carlson: You got lots of time. A woman doesn't hit her prime till she's thirty.
Wendy: Yeah, by then I wanna be really good at it.

A Classic Beach Boy Movie
11 February 2001 | by (Clearwater, Florida) – See all my reviews

This film works as a nice little reality check for us "over-aged" surfers. We see Rick teased with getting a so called real job, and we see him doing what he loves to do....being at the beach. Nice direction for a 70's film and real nice character development. Ann Archer shows her acting skills and of course Sam Elliott steals the show.
