Storyline
Rick is in his 30s, but still works full-time as a lifeguard on the beaches of Los Angeles in California. He enjoys the fun of it, but even more the silent moments. However when he meets his divorced highschool girlfriend and her 5 years old son at their 15 years class reunion, he considers switching to a more "serious" job. Written by

This film works as a nice little reality check for us "over-aged" surfers. We see Rick teased with getting a so called real job, and we see him doing what he loves to do....being at the beach. Nice direction for a 70's film and real nice character development. Ann Archer shows her acting skills and of course Sam Elliott steals the show.
