Trivia

This made for television disaster movie aired on the exact same day of the real life Tenerife disaster in the Canary Islands. On March 27, 1977 two jumbo passenger jets (Pan Am Flight 1736 and KLM Flight 4805) collided on the runway in heavy fog at Los Rodeos Airport in Tenerife. The fatal crash killed 583 people from the two planes and still stands (as of 2015) as the worst disaster in aviation history. See more »

good, suspenseful, but faintly cheesy

Good, suspenseful, but faintly cheesy 70s disaster movie in which a small plane smacks into the side of a skyscraper, endangering several of the Familiar Faces Of The Movies from that era. Most of the story centers around trying to fish the crash survivors out of the plane before it can fall back out of the building and splatter on the ground below.
