S10 Reviews: Midnight Blue Collection: The Deep Throatvol. 1 (1969), 1 November 2005
Author: suspiria10 from The Void

"Midnight Blue Collection: The deep Throat – Special Edition vol. 1" brings together several episodes of the long running New York cable access show created by "Screw" magazine and hosted by Al Goldstein and Alex Bennett. The show had a heady mix of politics and sex this DVD released by Blue Underground. This collection brings together several episodes that highlight many aspects of the social and political uproar surrounding the release and controversial "Deep Throat". Interviews in the collection include the director Gerard Damiano and star Harry Reems and the trouble he got himself into as a result of his involvement in the ground-breaking film. Also included is a interviews Carol Connors the no-named nurse who also happens to be mother of the actress Thora Birch.

The series is very adult but entertaining and certainly a must for fans of adult film.
