Anachronisms 

When Roosevelt has his hand on a globe, Turkey and Libya are visible, but neither name would appear on a globe in 1904. Also, Greece is spelled "Grece".

The chess set has European (Christian) chess pieces, instead of Islamic chess pieces which a Muslim prince would be expected to use.

In 1905, the US Marine Corps used a blue battle flag (as seen on the poster). The flag was not changed to red until the 1920s.

During the sparring scene,Theodore Roosevelt and his opponent are wearing 1970s era Everlast boxing gloves. The film takes place in 1904, and Everlast was founded in 1910.

Continuity 

Ms. Pedecaris' companion, who is slain in the opening scene, is referred to as "Joseph". He is later referred to as Sir Joshua Smith.

At the beginning of the movie when Candace Bergen is kidnapped, her son is chased and falls in a pool of water. Moments later he is chased into the house and his clothes are completely dry.

Factual errors 

The Raisouli and his followers pray while the muezzin is calling. In fact, the actual praying is done after the muezzin finishes - it's his job to remind the faithful to go pray. This is a common mistake in Hollywood productions, possibly done for dramatic purposes.

At the beginning when Eden discusses wine her guest talks of a "red Bordeaux", all Bordeauxs are red, one may as well say an orange Orange.
