Storyline

A rich woman, Raffaella, and some friends rent a yacht to sail the Mediterranean Sea during summer. The sailor, Gennarino, who is a communist, does not like this woman but has to bear with her bad mood. One day she wakes up late in the afternoon and asks to be taken to land where everyone had gone earlier. Gennarino sets up a boat but during the trip, the boat breaks down. A beautiful wealthy ultra-bitch and a mangy resentful cur are stranded together
11 October 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This movie exploits a basic male fantasy: if only society would get out of the way I could have my way with her, and she would love it. The fact that a woman directs the film makes it even more empowering to the male ego. But the plot also shamefully exposes our hero as a bullying tyrant who takes unfair advantage when he's got the upper hand. Great dialog, fine acting and gorgeous scenery make this film a hit, and I'm so glad it wasn't dubbed. My favorite line occurs when she hurts her foot and demands his help by stating, "it is against the law not to help someone in need. He laughs, and says, if that were true, all rich people would be in jail."
