I took my son to see this film in 1975 while living in Uruguay. we both loved it. I wrote a short picture book based on a tale that dealt with the same theme, the ilusion (dream) of Trapito, the little scarecrow (espantapajaro, The bittersweet, poignant tale will touch the heart of anyone and the antics of the bear, Largirucho will tickle the funny bone of kids anywhere. I've always wondered why this excellent cartoon has never hit the screen here in the US. It's a doggone shame it hasn't at it is excelente!
