Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A family runs away, and near the end of the film the father almost kills his own kids by blindfolding them and plans to shoot them each so they won't die by the martians he almost goes through with it at his wife's request, but backs down at the very end when police arrive. Even for 1975, this would have been very frightening and disturbing for television and probably should have been rated higher that the TVPG rating it was given. Even still to this day it is frighting and disturbing.
