Continuity

During the chase on the mountainside, the passenger's side window on the orange Mustang alternates between being opened and being closed. Also, after it rams into Mitchell's car, it loses a headlight, but later in the chase, the headlight is back.

Throughout the final chase, the helicopter's altitude is inconsistent in its relation to the boat. This causes problems with actions (like the buoy hitting the side of the boat etc.).

Factual errors

At one point Mitchell gives the time as 24:17 hours. This is not standard military time notation as the day ends at 24:00. Times after midnight are occasionally used by some scheduling timetables but not for military/police time.

The main rotor of the police helicopter is turning much slower in the close ups than in the long shots; revealing that the close ups were shot on the ground or on a sound stage (the sound of the rotors is steady throughout the scene).

The first shot of Mitchell climbing down the rope from the helicopter is clearly not of actor Joe Don Baker, but a much more fit stunt man wearing a watch cap.
