Jane's dialog to Tarzan - "you hockey puck", "knock off that jazz before I give you a knuckle sandwich", "you dumb bimbo", and "you've got all the brains of a porcupine" - were spoken by Mel Blanc, sped up to double speed and played in reverse. See more »
Pink Panther journeys through the jungle and runs into the pointy-nosed man again, this time as Tarzan the Ape Man. His speed-talking wife talked his ear off, wanting him to get her a pink mink, so, the man is out to hunt down the panther for his pink fur. But, the Pink Panther is up to his clever wits again, outsmarting the man on a number of occasions.
This is one of the better Pink Panther cartoons of the 1970s, in my opinion. You get to see the panther in his more clever and witty self and he gets the upper hand in this story. The ape man's wife talking in fast, chipmunk language was hilarious, and the animals tossing the panther around was funny as well. A very entertaining cartoon - one of the better ones featuring the Pink Panther.
